Keeping up with codecs

So, every now and then we come across an error message on the lines of : “Cannot play back. Unsupported format. Codec not available”. And we have to crank up an alternate media player just to play, say, one file of DT that must be heard right here, right now. In the ‘presence of enemies’ indeed, with all that hassle.
Now, there are ‘n’ number of codec-download sites on the Net. Here’s one that I personally prefer because when it says ‘updated regularly’ . . . it really means it! I’m sure you’ll find a pretty good one-step solution to the codec woes.
